unionizing

I see this sign every day when I drive home from work. It cheers me up. I still haven't come up with any good explanations for when (or why) the bakery confectionery workers and the tobacco workers got together to make a union, but, hey. Whatever.

hey, out of sheer boredom and avoidance of midterm-studying I started to click the "next blog" button at the top of the page.

I discovered most blogs are not written in english unfortunately- but yours came up and I was so relieved to see something that didn't resemble what spagetti noodles look like when they fall on the floor; so I started reading.

I figured you wouldn't mind since it is the internet and you probably expected strangers to read your blog once in awhile.

It just happens that I'm a college sophmore, studying to be an elementary school teacher so your blog is an insight to the world I will hopefully soon be entering. lol

I'm mormon and I saw that you were a BYU-I alumni so I was wondering if you were a member too. I think it would be so awesome to hear what it's like to be an LDS teacher- even though I have no idea where you teach and it would probably be a little different than what I'm going to experience here.

Thank you again for your blog and insights to the perils of teaching lol

Crazy unions . . . one of these days I'm going to write a post about how I hate the graduate student employees union that I am forced to be a part of. They suck so much of my cash!

And I am so jealous you have a follower that doesn't even know you. Hey Jessica, want to read my blog too? I'm LDS. And I thought about being an elemetary education teacher at one point. Shawna has a link to me (Vickie) on her sidebar.
